  2. r1cfDESCRIPTION:r0  c7File manipulation of your FTP'd files

  4.  The FTP Directory Maintenance area allows you to tag files you FTP'd,
  5. download those files, edit the file names (great for MSDOS users who
  6. can't handle files with multiple extensions), and delete (remove) files
  7. that you have already downloaded.  The display will show you your files
  8. and the size of the files in kilobytes (KBytes).

  10.  Commands listed on the Directory Maintenance menu are:

  12.  c5E  c1Edit/Rename files
  13.        ccThis option allows you to rename your files.  This is very
  14.        useful for MSDOS/Windows users who can not handle multiple
  15.        file extensions (ie. filename.tar.z).
  16.  
  17.  c5R  c1Remove/Delete files
  18.        ccThis option allows you to delete files that you have already
  19.        tagged and downloaded.  Be careful when using this option.  You
  20.        have to tag and download your files FIRST before deleting them.
  21.        If you tag your files and then delete them from the directory
  22.        list, you will not be able to download them (they will no longer
  23.        exist in your storage directory).  This command has 3 options:

  25.               #: number of the file on the display
  26.               0: deletes all files on the current screen list
  27.         [ENTER]: quits back to the Directory Maintenance menu

  30.  c5T  c1Tag files for downloading
  31.        ccThis option allows you to tag files off the directory list
  32.        for downloading.  There are 3 options available at the Tag
  33.        prompt.  
  34.  
  35.             #: number of the file listed from the display
  36.             0: tags all files on the current screen list
  37.                (doing this option again on the current list will untag
  38.                your files)
  39.       [ENTER]: quits back to the main Directory Maintenance menu

  41.  c5D  c1Download files (individual or tagged)
  42.        ccThis command will prompt you if you wish to download
  43.        individual files (listed from the directory display) or
  44.        if you wish to download tagged files (see the T option above).
  45.        Choosing one or the other will take you to a new screen which
  46.        will ask you for your active transfer protocol (ie. Xmodem,
  47.        Ymodem, Zmodem, etc).  It will then take you through the transfer
  48.        and send the file(s) to your machine.  When this procedure is
  49.        finished, you will be returned to the Directory Maintenance menu.
  50.        If you choose nothing at the Individual or Tagged prompt, you
  51.        will be returned to the DirMaint options prompt.

  53.  c5U  c1Upload files to storage directory
  54.        ccThis option only appears if the sysop has set the UPLOAD
  55.        function in INet's configuration file.  When you select 
  56.        the upload function, it will take you to a new screen and
  57.        will give you these options:

  59.                [ENTER]:  allows batch transfers
  60.                      Q:  quits/aborts upload function
  61.             <filename>:  allows entering of a file name
  62.   
  63.        You will then be prompted for your protocol and the usual
  64.        upload prompts will be shown.  When uploading is completed,
  65.        you will be returned to the Directory Maintenance menu.

  68.        ccThis option only appears if there are files on the previous
  69.        page on the directory list.

  72.        ccThis option only appears if there are more files on the next
  73.        page of the directory list

  76.        ccQuits the FTP Directory Maintenance sub-menu and returns
  77.        you to the INetShell main menu.
